Rohit Manocha
Co-Founder and Managing Director
Mr. Manocha is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of TriArtisan Capital Advisors LLC ("TriArtisan"), which was formed in 2016. Prior to forming TriArtisan, the Co-Founders of the firm operated as TriArtisan Capital Partners, since its founding in 2002. Prior to TriArtisan, Mr. Manocha was a founding partner of Thomas Weisel Partners LLC since 1999. Prior thereto, Mr. Manocha was a principal and senior member of the managing group that purchased Furman Selz, a middle market financial services company, from Xerox financial services in 1993. After its sale in 1997 to ING Group, Mr. Manocha remained with ING Group until the beginning of 1999, where he had responsibility for the North American private equity coverage and consumer, retail and industrial mergers and acquisitions businesses.
Prior to Furman Selz, Mr. Manocha worked at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. from 1986 to 1994 and was a founding member of its private equity coverage effort. Mr. Manocha began his career as a corporate and mergers and acquisitions attorney in New York and California.
Mr. Manocha received a B.S. in Engineering and a J.D. from Columbia University.
Mr. Manocha currently serves on the board of directors of Mears Transportation, Dover Saddlery, and TGI Friday’s, TriArtisan portfolio companies. Mr. Manocha was responsible for TriArtisan’s investments in The Eight O’Clock Coffee Company, Paddock Pool Construction, Cannery Casino Resorts, Sara Lee European Meats, Claire’s, Harrah’s Entertainment, Sur La Table, Paper Source, TGI Fridays, Dynacast, Mears Transportation, C3, and Dover Saddlery.
