Mr. Montag joined TriArtisan in 2019.

Prior to joining TriArtisan, Mr. Montag was an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate at Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, where he was actively involved in advising and arranging debt financings for high yield corporate and sponsor-backed businesses, across acquisition, growth, recapitalization, restructuring and refinancing transactions. Mr. Montag completed seven advisory and capital raising transactions, in excess of $5 billion, across a variety of industries. 

Prior to this, Mr. Montag was a High Yield Credit Research Analyst with Fitch Ratings, covering corporate publicly traded and sponsor-backed private credit issuers.  

Mr. Montag received his B.S. in Finance from the School of Management at the University at Buffalo. 

Mr. Montag is actively involved in TriArtisan’s investments in EnergySolutions and P.F. Changs.
