Mr. Lorne Weil has been an Advisor of Sportech PLC since April 24, 2014. Mr. Weil serves as an Advisor of Webalo, Inc. Mr. Weil served as the Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Games Corporation (SGMS) from April 1992 to December 2008 and President from August 1997 to June 2005. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Autotote Corporation since April 1992 and as the President of Autotote Corporation since August 1997. He served as the President of Lorne Weil, Inc. from 1979 to November 1992, which he founded. Since 1991, he has been the Chairman of the Board at Scientific Games Corp. Mr. Weil has been a Non-Executive Director of Avantair, Inc. since November 2010. He serves as a Director of Autotote Corporation, Scientific Games Corporation, Fruit of the Loom, Inc., General Growth Properties, Inc. and XESystems Inc., a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation. Mr. Weil served as a Non-Executive Director of Sportech plc from October 2010 to April 24, 2014. He is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Entrepreneurship Center at Columbia Business School. He is a Member of the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School.

 

Mr. Weil earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, an MS from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Columbia University
