Eight O'Clock Coffee Company was a leader in gourmet coffee. It was the third largest provider of retail coffee in the US, through its Eight O'Clock and Royale brands, and was the #1 ranked retail whole bean coffee brand. The company sold to major retail and foodservice customers and also operated a direct mail and e-commerce business. The company was founded in 1859 and headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, with a roasting facility in Landover, Maryland.

In June 2006, Eight O'Clock Coffee was sold to Tata Coffee Limited.
